Solutions

Built first for financial services.

Wherever an agent’s action moves money, changes a customer’s position or touches regulated data, GREENLIGHT decides first and keeps the evidence. Banks, insurers and wealth firms get the speed of agents with the control their supervisors expect.

Why now

Agents now act on the systems that matter most

Financial services has moved past chatbots. Agents are being given tools that change balances, records and permissions, and the controls built for people do not stop a machine acting at speed.

  1. 01

Agents have moved from answering to acting

The first wave of AI in financial services summarised and drafted. The current wave calls tools: it pays, refunds, updates records and changes permissions on live systems.

  2. 02

Permissions are broad, intent is not checked

An agent usually runs with a service account that can do far more than any single task needs. Nothing between the agent and the system asks whether this specific action should happen now.

  3. 03

    Accountability stays with you

When an agent makes a mistake, is manipulated by an injected prompt or simply misreads a request, the firm owns the outcome. Logs that show what happened are not the same as proof it was authorised.

Financial services

Where GREENLIGHT fits in your business

Each line of business has its own consequential actions. GREENLIGHT applies one decision point to all of them, with rules tuned to each.

Banking & payments

Agents that move money, open accounts and resolve disputes act on the systems your regulator watches most closely.

Banks are putting agents into payments operations, collections, disputes and onboarding. Those agents hold real permissions on core systems, and supervisors expect the bank to show who authorised each action and on what basis.

Consequential actions

  • Payment initiation and refunds
  • Beneficiary and limit changes
  • Provisional credits and chargebacks

What GREENLIGHT adds

  • Amount, payee and velocity limits checked before money moves
  • Human approval for new beneficiaries, limit raises and large transfers
  • A signed record of every decision for audit and complaints handling

Insurance

Claims, policy servicing and payouts are consequential actions — each one should be authorized and provable.

Claims and servicing agents can settle, pay out and change policies faster than any team. Each of those actions changes what the insurer owes, so each one needs a decision that can be explained later.

Consequential actions

  • Claims payouts
  • Policy and beneficiary changes
  • Customer-record updates

What GREENLIGHT adds

  • Payout thresholds and exceptions applied claim by claim
  • Beneficiary and bank-detail changes held for review
  • Evidence of who approved each settlement and why

Capital markets & wealth

Instructions, transfers and client-record changes need a decision and a record that stands up to review.

Wealth and markets firms are using agents for client servicing, instructions and record maintenance. A wrong instruction or an unauthorised change to a client record has direct financial and conduct consequences.

Consequential actions

  • Transfers and instructions
  • Client-record changes
  • Account permission changes

What GREENLIGHT adds

  • Instructions checked against client mandates and limits
  • Permission and record changes routed to the right approver
  • A complete trail of each instruction from request to execution

One decision point

The same flow behind every use case

Whatever the agent and whatever the system, each consequential action passes through the same four steps.

  1. 01

    Agent proposes an action

Before a tool call reaches your system, it goes to GREENLIGHT through the gateway, a hook or the SDK.

  2. 02

    GREENLIGHT decides

Your policies and the native library are applied to the action, its target, the amount and the context.

  3. 03

    The decision is enforced

Allowed actions carry an execution visa. Others are held for a human, escalated or blocked.

  4. 04

    Evidence is kept

Every decision, approval and visa is written to a signed logbook you can verify independently.

Four outcomes, always with a reason

  • Allow

Inside policy. The action proceeds with an execution visa bound to what was approved.

  • Require human approval

Consequential. A named approver decides, with separation of duties and a time limit.

  • Escalate

Unfamiliar. The rules do not recognise the action, so it goes to a person instead of passing silently.

  • Block

Against policy. The action does not reach your system, and the reason is recorded.

Use cases

Where GREENLIGHT decides first

Each use case has its own page: the risk, the actions an agent takes, how GREENLIGHT typically decides, and which parts of the platform are involved.

Outcomes shown are illustrative. GREENLIGHT decides according to your policies and thresholds.

Rollout

Start by watching. Enforce when the evidence says so.

You do not have to switch on blocking to get value. GREENLIGHT starts in shadow mode, shows you what your agents are doing and what it would have decided, and lets you enforce one workflow at a time.

About rollout modes
  1. Shadow

GREENLIGHT evaluates every action and records what it would have decided. Nothing is blocked, so you can measure before you change anything.

  2. Advisory

Decisions are returned to the agent and to your teams as recommendations, and policies are tuned against real traffic.

  3. Enforce

Holds and blocks are switched on workflow by workflow, starting where the risk is highest and the evidence is clearest.

For every team

One platform, four teams with a stake in it

Agent risk crosses team lines. GREENLIGHT gives each of them what they need from the same decisions.

  • Risk & compliance

Set the rules agents must follow in plain terms, see every exception, and hand auditors evidence instead of screenshots.

  • Operations

Let agents take the volume while people keep the decisions that matter, with approvals that arrive with the context needed to decide.

  • Engineering & platform

Add one decision point in front of agent tool calls, through a gateway, hooks or SDKs, without rebuilding each agent.

  • Security

Close the gap between broad service-account permissions and what each action actually needs, and catch manipulation before it executes.

Also applies to

Beyond financial services

The same decisions work wherever an agent can pay, change a record or grant access.

  • Public sector

Case actions, records changes and payments made by agents.

    • Benefit or grant payments proposed by an agent
    • Changes to citizen or case records
    • Release of records to another agency
  • Healthcare

Record updates, approvals and data movement.

    • Updates to patient or member records
    • Prior-authorisation and claims steps
    • Movement of sensitive data between systems
  • Technology & enterprise IT

Coding agents, cloud changes and access grants.

    • Production deploys and infrastructure changes
    • Access and permission grants
    • Destructive commands from coding agents

FAQ

Questions teams ask first

How GREENLIGHT fits alongside what you already run.

Does GREENLIGHT replace our identity and access management?

No. Identity and access management decides who an agent is and what it can reach. GREENLIGHT decides whether a specific action should happen now, with this amount, target and context, and keeps evidence of that decision. The two work together.

Do we have to rebuild our agents?

No. Agents connect through a customer-hosted gateway, pre-action hooks for common agent frameworks and coding agents, or the Python and TypeScript SDKs and REST decision API. The agent asks first; your systems stay as they are.

Can we start without blocking anything?

Yes. Shadow mode evaluates every action and records what GREENLIGHT would have decided while blocking nothing. Teams use it to measure and tune before they enforce anything.

Where is our data held?

The hosted service runs in the AWS Asia Pacific (Singapore) region. GREENLIGHT is designed to work on decision metadata rather than raw end-customer data, and you decide what your integrations send.

Is it only for financial services?

Financial services is where we start, because the actions are consequential and the evidence matters most. The same decisions apply in the public sector, healthcare and enterprise IT, wherever an agent can change something that matters.
